កាលពីថ្ងៃទី ០២ ខែ មិថុនា ឆ្នាំ ២០០៩ វិទ្យាស្ថានពុទ្ធសាសនបណ្ឌិត្យបានរៀបចំពិធីបើកវេទិកាអក្សរសាស្ត្រ ខ្មែរជាផ្លូវការ ដែលប្រព្រឹត្តទៅជារៀងរាល់ពីរដងក្នុងមួយខែ។ ជាមួយគ្នានោះផងដែរ វិទ្យាស្ថានបានចេញផ្សាយនូវវចនានុក្រមខ្មែរអេឡិចត្រូនិកកំណែទី ២ សម្រាប់ការប្រើប្រាស់ដោយឥតគិតថ្លៃ ។

On 1,2 September, Buddhist Institute held the conference on “Rescue of Ancient Manuscripts by Digitization” that cooperates with Société Asiatique of France and Torre do Tombo of Portugal and supported by European Union.The Conference was presided by H.E Sok An, Senior Minister and Minister in charge of the council of minister. |

The Phchum Ben Festival
The Phchum Ben festival is the big one among other Khmer’s festivals, which held every year.
Khmer people always participate every year from the first day to the fourteenth day of the waning moon of the tenth month of the lunar calendar (correspondents to August-September), the period is 14 days (which called Ben Muoy, Ben Pir,…and the last day is the fifteenth day, called “ the Phchum Ben day”). This year it held from 11th to 25th of September of solar calendar. |

កឋិនទាន ជាផ្នែកមួយរបស់ចីវរទាន ប៉ុន្តែទាននេះមានលក្ខណៈពិសេសប្លែកពីចីវរទាន ធម្មតា ព្រោះអ្នកធ្វើនិងអ្នកទទួល ត្រូវគោរពឲ្យបានត្រឹមត្រូវតាមលក្ខខ័ណ្ឌមួយចំនួនដែលមានចែងក្នុងព្រះវិន័យ។
I- ប្រភពកឋិនទាន
សម័យពុទ្ធកាល ពេលដែលព្រះសម្មាសម្ពុទ្ធទើបបានត្រាស់ដឹងថ្មីៗ ទ្រង់អនុញ្ញាតឲ្យភិក្ខុសង្ឃប្រើប្រាស់តែសំពត់បង្សុកូល គឺសំពត់ឥតម្ចាស់ ដែលភិក្ខុរកបានពីព្រៃស្មសាន ឬពីគំនរសំរាម ប៉ុន្តែក្រោយមកទើបទ្រង់អនុញ្ញាតឲ្យភិក្ខុអាចប្រើប្រាស់គហបតីចីវរ គឺសំពត់មានម្ចាស់ ដែលភិក្ខុបានមកដោយសារគេប្រគេន។ ចាប់ពីពេលនេះហើយ ដែលកឋិនទានចាប់ផ្ដើមមាន |

Water, Light floating and Moon praying Festival |

|
Water, light floating and moon praying festival are always held annually within three days, 14th 15th day of the waxing moon and 1st day of the waning moon in Kattika (name of the 12th month of lunar calendar that between October and November of solar calendar).This festival consists of boats racing (men-women) from morning until evening and at night they float the decorated light of each institution. |
